so sitting here thinking about-well.. the economy-

but what also occured to me was Africa & Foreign Aid... (thanks to BBC World News)
and I'm beginning to wonder....

"hey maybe this isn't helping too many people...?"

-possibly prolonging War & Starvation

there are, of course, many takes on this topic:
ARGUMENT:
"There in trouble we need to help them."
COUNTER ARGUMENT:
"We can't truly afford to help them since our economy is falling..."

ARGUMENT:
"We can stop this."
COUNTER ARGUMENT:
"Not forever."

ARGUMENT:
"We can feed them, cure them, and help them become modern..."
COUNTER ARGUMENT:
"At whose expense? The tax-payers?"

A lot of people are beginning to regret sending aid to Africa because of a lot of reasons...

I'm wondering what everyone else's take on this topic is?
